Vale Smelter closing in Thompson

The Vale annual report for 2015 closing December 31, 2015. On page 37  it states that:

“As part of our efforts to reduce sulfur dioxide and other air emissions to meet regulatory changes in Ontario and Manitoba, and to rationalize our smelting and refining assets across Canada, we will modify our processes including switching to a single flash furnace in Sudbury in 2017.“
