Forgoing mineral wealth in the WNO ‘Choices for eternity”
Below is a position paper the MPDA commissioned in 2010 on the sterilization of the east side of Lake Winnipeg. It appears the UNESCO site designation is probably a done deal but proud to say that the MPDA did speak out against this happening before the inventory of geological mining potential was conducted. Sad state of affairs for mining in Manitoba.
