Paddle for protection

Here is a link to the Manitoba Wilderness Committee outlining a group paddle event down the Bird River to demand protection of the river from Mining and Logging, where many of our members have valid mineral claims. Please remind this government that mining in Manitoba started here and the old mining roads are the access roads that the ‘wilderness’ people use today. Mining in Manitoba will become extinct from these pressures. Please send a letter to your MLA or to Minister Cullen reminding them how important mining is to this province.
