By MPDA staff
When MPDA members gather at the Manitoba Club on November 19, there will be a little extra magic in the air, and a lot of it will come from one of our own.
MPDA Board Member Jason Combe has created an album of mineral-themed music called Rocks of Wonder, and it will play in the background throughout our Mineral Magic Holiday Mixer. It is a fun way to celebrate the season and a great conversation starter for the evening.
Music with a mineral twist
Jason grew up remembering the educational songs and jingles that used to air on cable TV, and he wanted to create something in that spirit. He started with a single song about minerals, “Mineral Magic,” written to resonate with young people. One thing led to another, and the single grew into a full album. He releases his music under his DJ name, Damonrae.
Listen to Rocks of Wonder on Spotify.
