Renée Greyeyes

Chief Executive Officer

Renée Greyeyes is the Chief Executive Officer of the Manitoba Prospectors & Developers Association (MPDA). A member of Peguis First Nation in Treaty 1 Territory, she is an accomplished executive leader with more than 20 years of experience building partnerships across Indigenous communities, industry, government, and the non-profit sector.

Renée is leading MPDA through a period of renewed growth, strengthening the Association’s role as Manitoba’s leading voice for mineral exploration and critical minerals development. Her leadership is focused on building meaningful relationships between Indigenous communities, industry, and government while advancing responsible resource development that creates lasting economic opportunities for First Nations, Métis, Inuit, businesses, and communities across Manitoba.

Known for bringing people together around complex issues, Renée has earned a reputation for turning ideas into action through practical solutions, strategic partnerships, and collaborative leadership. She has successfully led organizations through growth, governance renewal, fund development, organizational transformation, and stakeholder engagement, always with a focus on creating measurable results and long-term impact.

Prior to joining MPDA, Renée served as President & Chief Executive Officer of the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (Manitoba), where she championed Indigenous business growth, economic development, and cross-sector collaboration. She currently also serves as Interim Executive Director of the First Nations Community Foundation, where she is helping build strategic partnerships and advance philanthropic opportunities that strengthen First Nations communities.

Renée is passionate about creating pathways that increase Indigenous participation in Manitoba’s critical minerals sector through education, workforce development, procurement, business partnerships, and community engagement. She believes Manitoba has an opportunity to become a national leader in responsible critical minerals development by fostering trust, collaboration, and shared prosperity among Indigenous communities, industry, and government.
